The Referendum for CBA in Karachi Development Authority to be held on 6th March 2023 from 10 am to 5 pm.
Among all the unions, currently the Employees Union is in the lead with a strong position and has been allotted the election symbol Mukka. However Chattari symbol allotted to Mazdoor Union, Shama to Labour Union and flag to Workers Union.
Daily City News learned that said decision was taken on today after the referendum meeting of Karachi Development Authority and later the Registrar Trade Union issued a letter for the referendum schedule with the signatures of all unions and management.
However on the same day, The workers of Employees Union came out in the form of rally in the building of Civic Center with the slogans of the Employees Union Zindabad.
Currently, the voter interest of the KDA can be clearly seen in the current situation with the Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan Employees Union.
Referendum is important for all unions to see who wins this referendum with a huge majority with the status of CBA.
