A solemn and spirited ceremony was organized by the KDA Officers Association MQM Pakistan at the Seminar Hall, Civic Center Karachi to pay tribute to Pakistan’s armed forces and condemn recent Indian aggression.
Officers and Employees from the Karachi Development Authority (KDA) and Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) were in attendance, honoring the sacrifices of Pakistan’s soldiers who protect the motherland.
Syed Imran Hussain Jafri, Patron-in-Chief and Incharge of the KDA Employees Union MQM Pakistan, praised the efforts of the officers association for organizing the event.
He issued a stern warning to India, stating that in case of further escalation, the entire city of Karachi would unite behind Pakistan’s forces.
He also took the opportunity to criticize the Administrator of the KDA Officers Club, Mr. Sarfaraz—mockingly referred to as “Sir Farad”—accusing him of embezzling Rs. 17.5 million from club funds.
Imran Hussain demanded immediate elections for the club, warning that the MQM KDA Unit would not allow further financial mismanagement.
Whereas, KDA Officers Association President Khurram Arif strongly condemned Indian aggression and commended the prompt and effective response of the Pakistan Armed Forces, which reportedly targeted key enemy installations. He stated, “We sleep peacefully at night because our brave soldiers are guarding the borders, offering their lives for the nation.”
Moreover, Yasir Ali Khan, Information Secretary of MQM-P’s KDA Unit, saluted the martyrs and injured soldiers who stood as the first line of defense for the country.
However, Abdul Maroof, President of KDA Employees Union (MQM-P), paid tribute to the Pakistan Air Force, particularly for shooting down a multi-billion-rupee Rafale jet. He proudly highlighted that Pakistani pilot Kamran Masih downed the enemy aircraft, calling the PAF “the kings of the skies.”
Fazeel Bukhari Vice President of the KDA Officers Association MQM Pakistan thanked the officers and staff for their participation and said, “Your presence is a source of strength for our armed forces. Long live Pakistan Army!” The event was filled with passionate patriotic slogans and chants.
He honored the mothers of the martyrs for their courage and resilience, criticizing the enemy’s overconfidence, saying, “They thought purchasing Rafales would give them superiority, but they forgot that we have faith, unity, and the spirit of sacrifice.” He also referenced Surah Al-Kahf, acknowledging divine support in times of adversity.
Sajid Hassan, a leader from the Pensioners Welfare Association, said he attended the event at the invitation of President Khurram Arif to express solidarity with Pakistan’s military. “Pakistan was founded on the basis of Kalma-e-Tayyiba, and we will stand by our forces against every act of aggression,” he said.
The ceremony concluded with a collective prayer for the martyrs and for the peace and stability of Pakistan.
