An Emergency Session of KDA Employees Union held under the presidence of Chairman Abdul Maroof and attended by General Secretary Dilawar Khan, President Nadeem Khokhar, Deputy General Secretary Qamar Abbas Senior Vice president Nasir Khan including other office bearers.

Chairman Abdul Maroof informed that the new medical Insurance policy for KDA workers has been rejected in the Governing Body session by Minister Local Government Syed Nasir Hussain Shah because management has failed to brief on it.

He said that as per new medical policy department would deduct money from monthly salaries in term of medical and this amount will be paid to insurance company to provide better medical facilities to the employees of Karachi Development Authority (KDA).

He stated that department would also not bear any financial loss by implementing this medical policy.

Chairman Employees Union demanded management to brief Minister Local Government in the next session of governing body in a well manner so that medical facilities for employees could restore.
