An emergency session of KDA Employees Union held at civic center under the supervision of Chairman Abdul Maroof and demanded for restoration of medical facilities for all employees of Karachi Development Authority.
Abdul Maroof stated that employees medical facilities are totally stop as no hospital or laboratory is on the panel of KDA because of it employees are facing severe issues.
HE said that KDA Employees Union in past also demanded to get one hospital from Ashfaq memorial or DUHS on the panel of department by resolving the issues of rates so that the employees could avail the medical facility, which is the legal right of every worker.
Abdul Maroof questioned that due to the closure of medical panel some employees has died who is responsible of their death?. He demanded DG KDA Asif Ikram for the restoration of panel on priority basis.
Moreover he warned for taking legal action in case of non-resolution of the said issue as it link with the lives of workers.General Secretary Dilawar Khan and President Nadeem Khokhar were also present in the meeting.
