An officer of Karachi Development Authority on the anonymity of name informed that Ex DG KDA Asif Ikram and Ex Personal Staff Officer of DG Muhammad Zubair has reportedly played role to destabilize KDA as M. Zubair allegedly got permission from Ex .DG for the payment of honorarium to the employees and officers of Finance department for making budget.
Moreover he stated that Ex Personal Staff Officer reportedly got the said permission from Ex DG KDA for the payment of two month salary to employees and officers of finance department on the condition of getting one month salary allegedly as bribe.
An officer of KDA asked that its now up to newly posted DG KDA Nasir Abbas Soomro that either he would take action against the corrupt officials or he will close his eyes .
City News learned that due to the non-efficiency of Ex DG KDA employees and officers of department are deprive from getting monthly salaries from the last three months.
Further now the employees are compelled to stage protest for the payment of salaries as they are facing severe financial crisis.
Moreover it was also observed that if Minister Local Government Syed Nasir Hussain Shah would not take his personal interest for the redressal of KDA issues then soon KDA would be bankrupted.
