General Body Session held at Awami Press Club Malir under the presidency of President Ghulam Ali Goondar here on yesterday.
Three month report of press club’s performance was presented by General Secretary Manzoor Solangi and financial report was submitted by treasurer Younus Khaskheli where journalists were satisfied on press club’s journalistic activities and important decisions were taken for next three months.
On that occasion Senior Journalist of press club Saami Memon and president Ghulam Ali Goondar expressed their thoughts and said that Awami Press Club Malir has become highly successful in raising public issues before assemblies and rapid outcomes also have been seen on the news of press club.
They further said that press club journalists have been working in pandemic Corona virus situation and Rain Emergency circumstances to highlight public issues because journalists of press club understand their prior duty to heave public issues, troubles and anxieties and try every step to disclose victimization cover being voice of victims.
On that occasion press club’s vice president Sikandar Jokhio, Joint Secretary Arshad Ali Gabol, Office secretary Abdul Qadir Dars, Executive Committee members Sarwar Memon, Abdul Lateef Bughio, Jami Memon, Jamshed Zohrani, M Zaman Jokhio, Syed Sajad Shah, Muhammad Ali Ghotto and others were also present in the meeting.
