The first meeting of newly elected body of Crime Reporters Association (CRA) for the year 2022-2023 was held at Karachi Press Club under the chairmanship of President Kashif Hashmi.

Vice President Muhammad Salman, General Secretary Rehan Chishti, Finance Secretary Rajab Ali, Joint Secretary Fayyaz Younus, Information Secretary Atif Raza including members of Executive Committee Faizan Jalees, Akram Qureshi, Azfar Waqas, Saulat Jafri, Asad Ali and Abdul Rahman Farooqui participated in the meeting.

The introductory meeting was started with the recitation of Holy Quran, in the meeting there was a detailed consultation on the issue of early registration and scrutiny of the association, including the welfare of members.

Whereas, During meeting matter regarding monthly fees for members discussed and it was unanimously decided that a monthly fee of 100 rupees has fixed and as per ease of members they can pay 100 rupees per month or 1200 rupees annually.

However CRA office bearers praised Karachi Press Club President Fazil Jamili, Secretary Rizwan Bhatti, including all board members for their continuous support to CRA, and it was hoped that the Press Club would continue to support CRA in the future also.

CRA newly elected body also thanked to the Election Committee, which has been helping CRA in a democratic way for the past five years.
In the meeting prayers offered for the speedy recovery of CRA member Babar Saleem wife and father of Member Governing body Bilal Khan and Raja Imran, in the meeting.

At last prayers were also offered for the forgiveness of Shujaat Qureshi brother and Adnan Qureshi father’s brother.
