Today, on world’s human rights day, my message to all of you is to end the violations of human rights in which some people are denied basic necessities like food, shelter, education, clean water, and a safe place to grow and create growth opportunities. In this world of ever-increasing avarice and violence, this is a first step toward preserving peace and sanity.

As we mark the 74th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, we acknowledge the tireless work and invaluable contribution of Mohatarma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed (Former Pakistani Prime minister) who was an advocate for democracy and for the human rights of the most vulnerable sections of society, particularly women, children and minority rights.

Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto was honored with the award of “Outstanding Achievements in the field of Human Rights” in 2008.

Her endeavors and accomplishments are really important and meriting every one of the commendations and grants.

Let us be motivated to take action to put an end to such violations of human rights and celebrate our right to live in peace and harmony whenever we encounter them.
