Administrator D.M.C East Rahmatullah Sheikh has said that improving the condition of schools, medical centers and libraries is top priority.

He expressed these views while inspecting Allama Iqbal and Khawaja Shafi Dehlvi libraries along with Director Libraries Talat Shakeel, Executive Engineers Imtiaz Bhutto, Iqbal Mallah, Directors Zafar Iqbal, Agha Sameer and others.

He directed that steps be taken to modernize the libraries.He directed to concerned officers make Akhtar Colony Library as an E-library and said that work should be done to convert libraries into E-libraries in a phased manner.

The importance of book reading is still there today. The taste of reading of the young generation can be enhanced only through libraries. He directed that libraries should be improved and equipped with standard books.
