After the met department’s prediction about thunderstorm and rain, Administrator DMC East Rahmatullah Sheikh issued instructions to the concerned departments to remain alert during the Eid holidays and imposed emergency in DMC East in case of thunderstorms and rains and directed that departments should be on alert for services along with officers and staff including necessary machinery while also other arrangements take on immediate basis before prediction of met department.
Director Advertising Hammad Khan has warned advertising companies to immediately remove advertising boards and other advertising material on rooftops otherwise if any damage is caused due to advertising material in case of thunderstorm the responsibility will be on the concerned advertising company and action will be taken against concerned advertiser in view of relevant laws.
Director Municipal Services Tauqeer Abbas has also fixed staff during eid holidays under emergency which will be available for performing duties, superintending engineers Mubeen Sheikh, Salman Memon, Executive Engineer of M&E Imtiaz Bhutto, Executive Engineer B&R Iqbal Ahmed Malah have also taken steps in this regard.
