On the orders of Supreme Court and directives of Administrator D.M.C East Rehmatullah Sheikh and Municipal Commissioner Fahim Khan, a grand operation was carried out against encroachments on both sides from Nipa University Road to Jail Road Flyover, Hundreds of encroachments have been eliminated during the operation.
During operation removal of movable encroachments, paved structures have been demolished.
The work was carried out under the supervision of Additional director Sohail Sadiq ,deputy director Abdul Wahid Sheikh and others.
After the encroachments were cleared, the residents appreciated the efforts of Administrator D.M.C East Rehmatullah Sheikh, Municipal Commissioner Faheem Khan and the team of Anti-Encroachment Department and said that Due to the presence of encroachments at these places, it was difficult to walk,After the removal of encroachments, these places have improved.
He requested that action be taken in this regard so that there is no possibility of recurrence of encroachments.
