Karachi :Additional Chief Secretary Local Government Sindh Engineer Syed Najam Ahmad Shah has termed the construction of Gulistan Johar Flyover in the shortest period as a vital milestone for the Sindh government.
These views were expressed by Additional Chief Secretary Local Government Sindh Engineer Syed Najam Ahmad Shah while addressing the meeting held after the successful inauguration of the Gulistan Johar Flyover.
Engineer Syed Najam Ahmad Shah said that under the guidance of Sindh Chief Minister and Sindh Local Government Minister, all the officers and each team member of Sindh Local Government Department have worked devotedly to complete the Johar Flyover as per the given guidelines and standard SOPs. All the team members deserve congratulations for contributing their part and the establishment of Gulistan Johar Flyover is the beginning of a new journey of development and progress for the people of Karachi.
In a special conversation with our correspondent, the Additional Chief Secretary Local Government of Sindh said that the Gulistan-Johar flyover, which has been developed at a cost of 85 crore rupees, has been completed in the shortest period of just five months, which is another significant achievement.
Engineer Syed Najam Ahmad Shah said that as per the Astro Standard, Gulistan Johar Flyover has been constructed from the beginning to the end keeping in mind all safety measures and future requirements, with a length of 550 meters and a width of 19 meters. Gulistan Johar Flyover has been installed with 76 powerful LED lights of 140 watts each , due to which the bridge remains lightened even at night.
The Additional Chief Secretary Local Government of Sindh expressed his determination that various projects of huge cost will be started soon in all the districts of Sindh including and the vision of making Sindh a world-class developed province will soon be accomplished.
