Khairpur Nathan Shah: Fruit and vegetable markets increased the prices in every item between 60-80 on per kg. Its is also observed that meat and chicken rates have increased.
While dates also observed their prices increased which are used to break fast in during the Ramzan. While lack of governance and District administration retailers are charging extra prices just beginning of Ramazan.
Moreover, wholesalers and retailers, especially fruits and vegetables are looking free hand to get fleece consumers in Ramzan. While fruits and vegetables princes started to increase and the retailers expressed the fear may be become dearer in couple of days.
Meanwhile, Due to high prices and Corona Pandemic People have not started shopping as dates, Besan, Dal Chana, chat masala and cooking oil, sugar, cold drinks, and Sharbats said by shopkeeper Aijaz Ali Soomro.
As customers shared that rates have been reached with sky and essential food items upwards one week before Ramzan.
Its demand from the concerned authorities to take action and prices must be controlled as poor community can to effort in this critical situation and government must announce subsidy on food items particularly on fruits and vegetables.
