On the occasion of Pakistan’s 75th Independence Day, the Green Karachi Plantation Campaign was launched by hearing impaired, speech impaired and visually impaired people .

Trees were also planted in the vicinity of the Quaid-e-Azam’s shrine, in which a large number of people worried about the double standards of the society participated.

Mazar-e-Quaid management board also organized Fatiha at the grave of the Father of the Nation specially for wheelchair users and other disable peoples.

The founder of the Green Karachi campaign Sarwat Naseem Shah said that for the first time in the history of Pakistan, this society, has come together to make our city green like the green crescent flag.

We are starting this campaign with the aim of making people with all kinds of disabilities successful and prove that they are no less than anyone else. Inshallah, this campaign will continue in the coming days.

On this event, Special Assistant to Chief Minister Sindh,Sadiq Ali Memon, Mazar e Quaid Management Board Secretary Abdul Aleem Sheikh, All Karachi Realtors Association Chairman Kashif Shah, Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme Chairman Zaigham Rizvi, Special Olympics Chairperson Ronak Lakhani, President Disable Welfare Association Saima Ali and others participated.
