Karachi; Administrator DMC East Syed Shakeel Ahmed said that steps should be taken by imposing green emergency for the promotion of greenery at this time, he expressed these views during the plantation drive by planting saplings in three different mosques of UC-29.
He was accompanied by Superintending Engineer Mubeen Sheikh, Additional Director Tauqeer Abbas and Deputy Director Irshad Ali and management of mosques.
On this occasion, he said that in Three mosques of Scheme 33 have been planted saplings, the purpose of planting trees every day by going to some mosque or the other is to create a green environment and have tried to plant trees in such places where trees grow with care, green environment is the need of the hour and the best break of pollution. The interest of the public for plantation is very important by bringing the love of plants to the peak more and more trees can grow.
The tree plantation campaign can be successfully achieved by planting saplings in busy and Vibrant places, the more people show interest in tree plantation, the more tree will increase.
He requested the residents of District East to take the responsibility of identifying the places and growing the plants up to the tree, we will provide the saplings, he explained that DMC East does not have enough resources to reach every tree in the District East but It has the potential to make green by Mutual Sharing.
