Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Razzaq Bajwa hosted a dignified ceremony at his residence, Bajwa House, to mark the 72nd birth anniversary of former Prime Minister and iconic leader Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. A birthday cake was cut in her honour during the event.

The ceremony was attended by a large number of PPP workers and prominent party figures, including PPP Karachi Deputy General Secretary Zulfiqar Qaimkhani, Karachi Deputy Information Secretary Asif Khan, In-charge of People’s Secretariat Farid Ansari, Information Secretary East Farrukh Tanoli, Pir Zafar Jhandir, Shehzad Natha, PS-102 General Secretary Fahad Baloch, H.M. Ghanchi, Kashmiri leader Qari Ismail, UC-1 Chairperson Sanam Gabol, Councillor Anwar Jokhio, Councillor Zameer Khan, Hafeez Gabol, Shabbir Khokhar, Yaqoob Shaikh, Rehman Khan, Moazzin Khan, Riazat Ali, Riyasat Ali, and Haris Khan.

Participants raised slogans of “Jiye Bhutto” and danced to PPP anthems, celebrating the legacy of their beloved leader. PPP leaders highlighted the political struggle and remarkable life of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, recalling her resilience as the first Muslim woman Prime Minister of the Islamic world. They praised her steadfast stand against dictatorships, her sacrifices for democracy, and her unwavering commitment to the people of Pakistan.

The gathering paid rich tribute to Benazir Bhutto, offering prayers for her forgiveness and elevation of ranks in the hereafter, led by Qari Ismail. The event also featured fireworks and traditional drum beats, with party supporters expressing their joy and solidarity through dance and slogans.
