KDA Employees Union demands for the announcement of referendum date in the department from Joint Director of Labour Department.
KDA Employees Union Chairman Abdul Maroof, President Nadeem Khokhar, General Secretary Dilawar Khan, Deputy General Secretary Qamar Abbas and Vice President Nasir Khan in a joint statement stated that two years period has been passed but labour department has still not announced the date of referendum in Karachi Development Authority (KDA).
Moreover Employees Union Chairman stated that the management of KDA and Ex CBA Mazdoor Union is neglecting the rights of employees, due to which the workers are facing several issues.
Further he asked that the Ex CBA is availing all the facilities which is the violation of law.
Abdul Maroof urged Joint Director Labour department for the immediate announcement of referendum date as per the labour laws, so that the employees issues would resolve on a priority basis.
