KDA Employees Union Chairman Abdul Maroof along with President Nadeem Khokhar met with Minister Local Government Sindh Syed Nasir Hussain Shah on Monday at Civic Center Karachi and discussed issues of Karachi Development Authority employees and department. 

Abdul Maroof informed Minister that Sindh Government providing monthly grant of 200.4 Million to the department for payment of monthly salaries from last four years but the salaries has gradually increased so that the provincial government should provide 3500 Million . 

Moreover, he also asked Nasir Shah to resolve the issue of payment one time grant so that the department would be able to pay the dues of retired employees. 

Chairman Employees Union during discussion urged for the restoration of medical and facility of laboratory for employees 

Whereas President of Union asked to devolve DPUD as per the decisions of KDA Governing Body. 

In reply of Employees Union Minister Local Government assured for the approval of one time grant and would also ensure to review on raise of monthly grant. 

KDA Employees Union in a Press Statement thanked to Minister Local Government and DG KDA Asif Ikram for organizing Governing Body Session and for taking interest in the redressal of KDA Employees issues.
