Eid ul-Adha, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, holds deep religious significance for Muslims worldwide. It commemorates the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) to sacrifice his son in obedience to Allah’s command.
Citizens have begun preparing for the festivities, including the traditional Qurbani (sacrifice) of animals, which will begin after Eid prayers on Friday morning. Special arrangements are being made in major cities for prayer gatherings, livestock markets, and sanitation during the Eid period.
Authorities have urged the public to ensure cleanliness and follow guidelines for animal sacrifice to maintain hygiene and public health.
