KARACHI Sindh Minister for Education and Labor Saeed Ghani has said that educational institutions under SOPs will be bound to call only 50 per cent children in Sindh province till the end of Kowwood. On the one hand, the Federal Minister of Education is announcing the permission of 100% of the children, on the other hand, it is also asking for the implementation of SOPs and in the current situation in our educational institutions, especially in private educational institutions,
It is not possible to call 100% of the children together. We are going to fill the vacancies of teachers across the province on merit after UC level test and interview while the policy of transfer of teachers is also being made transparent and three categories have been created in this regard. Teachers will now be able to apply through the portal themselves and will not have to submit any application directly. Transfers have begun in 7,000 schools across the province that have been closed for the past several years due to teacher recruitment restrictions, but the remaining transfers will take place in August after the new academic year.
Work has also been started on clustering 6,000 schools in Sindh with reference to one secondary school there and various plans have been made for 2,000 secondary schools this year. This year, the grade of PST teachers has been increased from 9 to 14 while his educational qualification has been at least graduated. While the teachers recruited as primary teachers will be promoted but he will remain the primary teacher.
Sensate MQM
If the MQM supports the PPP in the Senate elections, it will have a political advantage and it will be easier for it to get technocrats and women’s seats in Sindh and the PPP will benefit for the federal seat. He expressed these views during a press conference held at his camp office on Sunday.
Sindh Education Secretary Ahmed Bakhsh Narejo was also present on the occasion. He said that in the last meeting of the string committee of the education department in Sindh province, it was decided that educational institutions across the province would be opened with full SOPs and keeping in view the public and private educational institutions here.
It was also decided that educational institutions would invite 50% of the children and those schools which have extra classrooms would divide the class into two parts. He said that a few days ago, the Federal Minister for Education had announced that educational institutions across the country could invite 100 percent of children but at the same time said that the SOPs issued should be fully implemented. Saeed Ghani said that it seems beyond the comprehension of the Federal Minister of Education that on the one hand he is talking about inviting 100% children and on the other hand he is also talking about SOPs, then somehow the distance can be maintained.
He said that educational institutions under the education department in Sindh province would continue their educational activities as per the previous announcement and would be able to invite only 50 percent children. “Alhamdulillah, the number of cases of the corona has definitely come down in the province, but the corona is not completely eradicated and until it is completely eradicated, educational institutions will continue to provide SOPs and 50 percent children a day.
He said that there is a shortage of teachers in Sindh province and we have issued advertisement today for 37 thousand vacant posts of teachers. He said that the cabinet has approved the recruitment of teachers and in this regard we have also signed an MoU with IBA Sukkur. He said that these recruitments are for the recruitment of PST and JST teachers. Saeed Ghani said that this time the policy has been changed before the recruitment of teachers and the PST teacher who used to have grade 9 will now be given grade 14 and the educational qualification for this has been at least graduated. Additional marks will be given to B.Ed and M.Ed holders from Sindh. He said that this time the recruitment would be done on full merit and at UC level and the successful UC candidates would be given this job in the same number of vacancies in UC. She said that for participating female teachers, women would be eligible on their husband’s domicile and PRC so that the difficulties for their transfer and posting could be resolved later.
Saeed Ghani further said that we have also removed the ban on transfer posting from the last two to two and a half years from the cabinet and decided to divide it into three categories through e-portal.
He said that there is a category called Red, which includes schools where there are more teachers than students and teachers coming in this category will be able to apply for their transfer throughout the year. The second category is Yellow Gate, in which the number of teachers is more than the number of students, while the third category is Green, in which the number of teachers is less than the number of students.
Saeed Ghani said that second and third category teachers will not be able to transfer to red category schools while teachers of these two categories will submit their application directly through e-portal and this is the next academic year which will start in August 2021. Only then will they be able to do so. Saeed Ghani said that we have initiated many revolutionary initiatives in the field of education and in this regard these policies have been being worked on for the last several years and this time after the approval of several policies it was implemented. Is.
He said that there are 7,000 such schools in the province which are closed due to restrictions on recruitment and transfer of teachers, so teachers will be posted here to start these schools immediately. It will be immediate and the teachers who will apply for these schools will be transferred immediately. He said that all the schools in the province have been thrown under GPS under full Google and now we will have complete data of all the schools in the province at a click where this school is, what is its condition. It contains all the information about the number of rooms, students and teachers. Saeed Ghani said that we have also given 6 out of 29 teacher training institutes of the province under public-private partnership for the training of teachers and work is also being done for on-the-job training of teachers. Replying to a question, Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani said that all the teachers recruited during the last 7 to 8 years have been on merit and these teachers are still providing better education.
He said that MoUs have also been signed with IBA Sukkur for the new recruits and the self-respecting judiciary has also expressed confidence in their test and appointment of session judges has also been made by IBA Sukkur. Tests are based on In response to another question, Saeed Ghani said that we have clustered schools across the province and made a cluster of 6,000 schools and one of the primary schools within 2 km is a secondary or elementary school. School status will be given to make it easier for students who drop out of school after class 5, especially female students, to pursue secondary education. He said that out of these 6,000, 4,000 have these schools but 2,000 we have to build new secondary or elementary schools, and work has been started for this.
In reply to another question, he said that there are 9000 such schools in the province where the enrollment of students is 80% so the work of providing all the basic facilities in these schools has been started in two phases under ADP scheme. And many schools have been completed while many are still in operation. Responding to a question on the transfer of officers and their shortages, he said, “We are trying to fill the gaps in the areas where there is a shortage of officers and this is being done and where there is a shortage of officers, non-teaching and teaching staff.” Yes, it is being fulfilled. He said that due to Cowood, where educational institutions have been closed for the last one year, we are facing difficulties due to non-functioning of Sindh Public Service Commission. Replying to a question, he said that in the meeting of the PPP delegation with the MQM regarding the Senate elections, we have requested them to vote for the PPP candidates in the Senate.
He said that if MQM would support PPP in the Senate elections, it would have a political advantage in securing technocrat and women’s seats in Sindh while PPP would have an advantage in the federal seat. He said that if MQM goes with PTI and GDA, it is their wish but it will make it difficult for them to get technocrat and women’s seats in Sindh. “We are not buying or selling any votes, but politically all political parties have the right to seek votes for their candidates from other political parties,” he said.
