Currently, Pakistan has the world’s second-highest number of out-of-school children (OOSC) means (The term ”out-of- school youth” means an eligible youth who is a school dropout) With an estimated 22.8 million children aged 5-16 not attending school, representing 44 per cent of the total population in this age group. In the 5-9 age groups, 5 million children are not enrolled in schools and after primary-school age, the number of OOSC doubles, with 11.4 million adolescents between the ages of 10-14 not receiving formal education. Disparities based on gender, socio-economic status, and geography are significant; in Sindh, 52 percent of the poorest children (58 percent girls) are out of school, and in Baluchistan, 78 percent of girls are out of school.
Reason of out-of-school children (OOSC) on major determinant to a smooth academic session for your child includes the payment of school fees. Every private owned school survives or depends on the tuition and other fees paid by parents to see their child through their academic excellence. While payment of fees ensures a seamless academic year for your child, sometimes parents are held back from fulfilling this obligation due to other pressing needs, eventuality or life occurrences.
Fee is a payment made in exchange of service or advice. In this point we going to look at fees made in exchange for education, fees play a very big role in higher education since lectures are needed in order to prove education to the one who need it.
In the beginning of every academic year or new term, ‘Happy School fees week’, puts a lot of parents on their toes to live up to their responsibilities. When a child’s fees are not paid, especially as it relates to the laws guiding the school, they are bound to distort academic activities of the child, by calling out the name of your child as a constant reminder or barring the child from making entrance into the classroom.
This has its psychological effect on the child who is constantly harassed for reasons beyond his or her control. The child’s mind then becomes divided from school activities and if he is suspended from participating in anything related to school work, that child misses that period which may never come back. No teacher goes back to teach a child’s whose learning process was affected by non-payment of fees.
Along with other socioeconomic sectors, education too has been adversely affected by the corona virus pandemic in Pakistan where the dropout ratio of students aged six to 16 years swelled to around 20 million including about 800,000. Pakistan no longer has the luxury to focus on bringing the colossal pre-pandemic figure of 22.8 million out-of-school children into schools which may result in millions of more Pakistani children dropping-out of schools.
The solution suggested in this case as in order to accelerate progress and ensure the equitable expansion of quality education , UNICEF supports the Government of Pakistan’s efforts to significantly reduce the number of OOSC at pre-primary and lower secondary levels. The global response to the challenge of out-of-school children has been to focus on free access to public education. The UN, World Bank, and many African governments have worked hard to abolish school fees at public schools. Unfortunately, even where these efforts have been successful in creating free public education, the result has been massive overcrowding of schools as many as 150 students per teacher making public schools even less effective than they were before.
Ultimately in our opinion lack of education causes poverty because their parents cannot afford to send them all to school, pay for books and supplies, and live without them on the farm. This also means that, they miss out on lucrative jobs and end up with low-paid or menial jobs which are mostly hard labor.
That’s why on account of COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COURSE we were connecting multiple organization or angles to sponsor the needy students while KHAAS FOUNDATION AND SOME ANGELS are which one who appreciate us or sponsor the needy students now we are working with KHAAS FOUNFDATION OR SOME ANGELS as to firstly find out the needy students by facts and data from different school after extract or investigate the data sponsor the following school ‘students like 2 matric STUDENTS FROM MATCHLESS PUBLIC SECONDARY SCHOOL,2 STUDENTS FROM HILL CREST SCHOOLING SYSTEM, 2 matric STUDENTS FROM ANAS ACADEMY , 2 students 9th class STUDENTS FROM PROF.MOIN SCHOOLING SYSTEM FROMLY OXFORD ACEDEMY AND 1 STUDENT FROM Al MAZHAR SCHOOLOF EXCELLENCE we raise the funds for those students whose can’t bear their tuition fees by focusing on provide financial support (as we raise funding to different organizations like KHAAS FOUNDATION and are some angels) to the needy students in the form of fee-waivers.
The scholarships is availed from November to until March for the students .Because Education helps people become better citizens, get a better-paid job, and shows the difference between good and evil. Education also shows us the importance of hard work and, at the same time, helps us grow and develop internally as well as socially. Thus, we can create a better society to live in by understanding and respecting laws and regulations.
In conclusion, education makes you a better person and teaches you various skills. It enhances your intellect and the ability to make rational decisions because a low level of education provision is often considered necessary in planning for the country to achieve the highest level of community developed or economic growth.
