The removal work of advertising boards and other materials installed at various places in the district east has been continued under the directives of Administrator/municipal commissioner D.M.C East Fahim Khan is in full swing under the supervision of Director Advertisement D.M.C East Hammad Khan.
It may be recalled that Hammad Khan had directed the advertiser to remove dangerous advertising boards automatically but no response given by advertiser after which the work of removing advertising material under which the work has been started.
With the help of heavy machinery, hazardous advertising material has been removed around FTC Shara e Faisal and Allah wali roundabout Shara e Quaideen.
Director Advertising Hammad Khan has said that the removal of illegal advertising material is underway, No advertisements will remain which do not come under the legal purview, have warned the advertiser but still removed the ad material.
The work has not been done by them so now we are doing it ourselves, only advertising material within the limits of the district east will now be allowed to be installed with permits and they will be meeting all legal requirements otherwise removing advertising content will not be avoided.
