Director General Of Karachi Development Authority Dr. Badar Jameel Mendro presided a meeting with journalists on Friday at conference hall of KDA .While speaking at the session DG KDA praised the role of journalists for highlighting the issues of department as well as the initiatives of department for the betterment of city and employees.

Moreover, he shared that media is playing a vital role for the betterment of society. Speaking about the employees issues regarding delay in salaries including lack of other facilities he vowed to resolve all the issues of current and retired employees on a priority basis.

On the other hand DG has decided to celebrate 72th  independence grand jubilee on departmental level by distributing national flags and badges among KDA employees ,officers and journalists.

Moreover ,Director General KDA said in his message that, we have got separate homeland due to the long struggle of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah .

DG KDA further said that  to overcome challenges and make Pakistan a self reliant, economically vibrant and prosperous country, we all should have to follow the principle of  “Unity, Faith and Discipline”. 

Dr. Badar Jameel Mandhro stated that flag hoisting ceremony will be held on 14th of August in which officer & employees of department would participate, he urged citizens for participation and shared that on independence Day KDA gate No:2 will remain open for citizen to participate in the Ceremony.

PRO KDA by a press statement informed that during celebration of 72th  independence day national flag, badges, caps and other things would be distributed among participants while on the instruction of DG KDA, Civic center building have been decorated with national flages and green lighting.
