Muttahida Workers Front CBA Chairman Irshad Khan, President Nadeem Yousuf and Deputy General Secretary Muhammad Waseem Ibrahim met with Focal Person of KW&SB Saeed Sheikh at his office on Wednesday.
During a meeting Chairman CBA informed Focal Person Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KW&SB) that the department has ban payment of leave encashment by the order , whereas on the other hand MD KW&SB itself violating the orders of provincial government by paying heavy amount to contractors and on the heads of fuel and medical.
Irshad Khan stated that as the department is using budget on paying other expenses so they should have to pay leave encashment of employees.
He also said the management informed to ensure payment of leave encashment with the disbursement of salaries.
Moreover, CBA Chairmen warned Managing Director and Focal Person to resolve the issue of leave encashment on priority basis otherwise all the employees of the department would do the pen stop strike from 9 am for 3.5 hours on a daily basis.
Whereas he also warned for a complete strike on next stage if the said issue would not resolve.
