Watan Parast Labour Union KDA panel in a joint statement stated that Union appreciated the efforts of DG KDA Dr Saif ur Rehman and his team but would not bear economic downturn of employees.

Syed Imran Hussain Jafri shared that despite of submitting requests management is not readyTake any step regarding the rehiring of Contract employees.

He said that KDA management have also side lined the Ex Army Personnels who were performing their duties of security for civic center, whereas the management is also ignoring women teachers rehiring issue.

Watan Parast Union Patron In Chief stated that the contract employees were performing their duties in different departments of Karachi Development Authority but due non rehiring those departments are facing shortage of employees.

The said employees and their family members are facing severe financial crisis and the officers are continuously ignoring their issues, he added.

Moreover he warned management of KDA that the anger of employees is rising day by day and if now the union would announce for protest then it will be prove worst for the management.

Further Syed Imran urged Minister Local Government Syed Nasir Hussain Shah & DG KDA Dr Saif ur Rehman for the immediate redressal of said issues.

However he informed that the Watan Parast Union would stage protest at Karachi Press Club and Minister Local Government office if the issue would remain unresolve.
