The Chairman of Town Municipal Corporation (TMC) Saddar Mansoor Ahmed Sheikh has said that the Competitive and Livable City of Karachi (CLICK) administration has been fooling the people for a long time in the name of building and developing Karachi.

He said at a protest sit-in along with local government representatives at the Click head office for raising his voice against the corruption, and incompetence of the Click administration.
A large number of elected representatives including opposition leader Munir Iqbal Gadi were also present in the Saddar Town Council on the occasion of the protest sit-in held at Click Head Office along with the local body representatives, who were carrying banners against Project Director Click.
The Chairman Saddar Town Mansoor Ahmed Sheikh said that Karachi is being abused in the name of development works.
He said that after Korangi and Sohrab Goth Town, today the representatives of Saddar Town are also raising their voices against the competitiveness of Click.
15 to 18 percent bribe is being collected through fake tenders by taking advantage of the transition period.
We have recalled a Focal person from Click. It is illegal to issue tenders for the reconstruction of constructed projects by colluding with contractors. A notice was sent to them to the Project Director of Click to which no response has been received so far.
Even today, on the occasion of this protest, PD Click did not even bother to come and talk to the elected representatives.
He demanded that all bogus tenders shall be cancelled and all the Click projects should be taken into account. The Click administration has completely failed in fulfilling its duties.
He informed that, The development projects are being completed only on paper, The council will not tolerate under any circumstances that the people of the city suffer the consequences of the incompetence and financial mismanagement of the Click administration.
When asked about the next plan of action, Chairman Sadar Town Mansoor Sheikh said that after the formation of the new government, the issue will be discussed with the Minister of Municipalities, he added.
If the demands are not accepted, we will protest in front of the Chief Minister House, the Chairman Saddar Town concluded.
