A Sister of deceased Naseem Haider an affected person of oral cancer met with SSP Korangi Shahjahan Khan at his office, SSP Korangi provide her financial assistance and prayed for the forgiveness of deceased.
An Oral Cancer affected sister praised the efforts of Senior Superintendent of Police Korangi for assuring action against Gutka/Mawa sellers which is a leading cause of oral cancer.
SSP Korangi also assured for the arrest of culprits nominated by Naseem Haider in FIR registered on 15th July 2019 in Zaman Town Police Station.
Advocate Muzammil Mumtaz Meo appreciated the work of SSP Korangi and stated that citizens feel secure because of the presence of police officers like Shahjahan Khan.
Whereas he also appealed for the immediate arrest of Gutka/Mawa sellers and manufacturers who were nominated in Naseem Haider FIR as he died because of these smokeless tobacco products.
It was learned that on the directives of SSP Korangi ,District Korangi Karachi Police is continuously taking action against the sellers and manufactures of smokeless tobacco including Gutka and Mawa.
The residents of District Korangi Karachi while speaking with Daily City News lauded the initiatives and prompt action of police on the directives of SSP Korangi.
