Pakistan’s power crisis has gotten worse, with load shedding extending up to several hours in different cities. This unannounced power cuts gets worse day by day with load shedding stretching up to 6-12 hours straight.

Because the coronavirus lockdown and the parching heat wasn’t enough to make Karachiites’ lives miserable. Due to the elongated load shedding and the heat, citizens faced water shortage.

It gets worse for the people in self quarantine. Students have difficulty taking online classes and exams.

K-Electric claims all this mismanagement is due to increase in demand and supply but the question here is why there is still no control over lengthy load shedding as the demand in the city has already decreased due to smart lockdown, all the restaurants, malls, café, markets are closed by 6pm.

The reason is there is no one to keep track of KE. I would request the higher authorities to have a look at this matter and have this issue solved and take action against people who contribute to keeping citizens in misery for their own profit.
