Block printing, screen printing, robotics, zari work, live face and pot painting and many more art pieces produced by the differently abled students of Karachi Vocational Training Centre (KVTC), DHA attracted thousands of visitors during three-day Safari Family Festival and citizens could not stop them from admiring their creativity and passion.

These art pieces were on display during this festival which concluded on Sunday. It was organized by Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC), Professional Youth Federation Pakistan and Karachi Vocational Training Centre here at Palm garden of Safari Park Karachi.

A larger number of Karachiites thronged to this festival with their children and other family members and visited stalls of KVTC, which aimed to display hidden talent of differently abled youth and to get herbal public realized that they never were disable persons.

On last day of festival, CEO KVTC renowned businessman Senator Haseeb Khan distributed certificates among all differently abled students of Karachi Vocational Training Centre and appreciated efforts of staff as well.

Art pieces and other products of these students was on sale too and a lot of people purchases those art pieces to decor their homes and offices.

KVTC also established it’s information desk and art therapy stalls along with a medical kiosk. Art therapy is used to treat different mental illnesses by engaging them ice-cream stick painting which also helps decrease their depression, tension and negative thoughts.

Talking to media at KVTC stalls, Senator Haseeb Khan said that this centre is aimed to help these differently abled kids to become a respected and productive member of society.

These are differently abled persons and must not treated as disable. KVTC is imparting free education and providing skills of international standards free of cost. More than 500 such students have Benn successful to get jobs and start earning, Senator Haseeb Khan added
