Administrator DMC East Rahmatullah Sheikh has said that heat stroke relief camps have been organized at various places in the east district to protect citizens from heat stroke in the scorching summer, in which arrangements have been made to provide immediate medical attention to those affected by heat stroke along with water, soft drinks including glucose.
During the inspection of camps he said that it is very hot at this time so citizens caution should be taken even when leaving home only leave of the homes in case of need.
Citizens should stay in shade places for some time when felt the heat.
He directed that the camps be maintained as long as heatwaves are there and all necessary facilities are provided on the campus.
Ensure that if a patient with a heat stroke comes to the fore, arrangements should be made to send him to the hospital after initial medical treatment.
He appreciated the services of the concerned departments for setting up a heat stroke relief campus and expressed satisfaction that there are officers and staff in dmc east who are present to serve citizens at every occasion.
