Airport Police Station team on the directives of Station House Officer Kaleem Moosa arrested two employees of Pakistan International Airlines and recovered Four Hundred thousand cash.One of them was employed on a permanent basis and the second was employed on a contract basis.
It was learned that complainant Mudassar Ahmed registered a First Information Report regarding the theft of his Wife gold items while she was traveling from Karachi to Multan by PK- 580 on 26-05-2019.
SHO informed that at the time of incident passenger lodge complaint to PIA and ASF authorities but the case was pending from more than 5 months then after that period complainant husband lodge complaint in Airport Police Station which registered in the station, whose Number is 141/2019 Under section 380/34 PPC.
After the registration of FIR, Airport Police Station resolved a more than 170 days old case within a period of eight days.
Kaleem Moosa stated that after the registration of FIR both operation & investigation staff has started their efforts to arrest the culprits.
However, under the supervision of SHO, Senior Investigation Officer Zahid Soomro and Investigation Officer SIP Akbar Masood arrested two accused namely Shoaib Khan, Samiullah, both were PIA employees.
Whereas SHO informed that the said persons arrested by the cooperation of Mr. Shahid Qadir Head Security of PIA
Mr. Moosa said, 400,000 rupees recovered from accused persons against theft property, as they had sold the theft jewelry.
It was observed that, Within a month it is the second action of Airport Police Station in which PIA Employees arrested in Passenger valuables theft case.
