Aghosh Orphan Care home in Pakistan’s biggest city is offering religious and academic education & fulfilling all the basic needs of orphan children, Muhammad Tayyab Incharge of Aghosh Orphan care shared these views while speaking with city news.
It was learned that the said orphan house is running under the supervision of the Minhaj Welfare Foundation, where they are providing state of the art education to orphan childrens in different parts of the country including Karachi, Lahore & Sialkot.
Moreover, it was observed that the first Aghosh orphan house was established in 2005 after the deadly disaster of the earthquake in Northern areas of Pakistan which took several lives. After Earth Quake Founder of Minhaj Welfare Foundation, Tahir Ul Qadri decided to establish an orphan house in Northern areas as several children had lost their parents in the said disaster which aimed to provide education as well as healthy environment to all the children.
Mr. Tayyab added that Aghosh Orphan House is providing state of the art facilities for the brighter future of every child, after the succession of Aghosh Lahore it has established in Karachi, Sialkot, and the UK.
While sharing about the numbers of enrolled students he informed that 3500 children enrolled in Aghosh Lahore, whereas more than 150 children are in the Sialkot campus. Speaking about Aghosh Karachi he stated that the Chairman of Minhaj ul Quran Supreme Council Dr. Hussain Mohiuddin Qadri inaugurated the Lahore campus of aghosh in 2017.
However, he stated that total numbers of thirty-four children are enrolled in the Karachi campus, while new admissions are in process.
He said that the organization is also willing to extend the work in Balochistan and less privileged areas of Sindh province to provide better education and facilities to each and every orphan child.
Moreover, he informed that in Karachi Aghosh located in the area of Shah Latif Town, which consisted on 2000 sq yard area and now it has a ground floor but the organization is willing to construct eight-floor building which would cost approximately more than 300 Million and financial constraints are the hurdle in the construction of more floors. He urged that the citizens for contribution in this noble cause.
Further, he revealed that the aim of the construction of 8 floors is to establish a school, college, and other institutions in the campus.
Muhammad Tayyab said it is their responsibility to provide clothes, shoes including other basic necessities that children could avail in their house. Further, he added that one woman appointed for every eight children to whom children called a mother who takes care of children like a mother.
In addition, he said to provide healthy environment organization arrange sports competition, exercises, karate classes including other extracurricular activities, whereas three-time Hygenic food also provided to every child in the said orphan house.
The Incharge of Aghosh Karachi further said that the organization provides equal opportunity to every child as per their willingness and also linked them with other organizations as per the need.
However, he stated thirteen students from the first batch of the orphan house has completed Msc Computer Science, whereas two students are getting Higher Education in Jamia Al Azhar.
