A brief meeting was held between the YDA Sindh delegation led by Chairman Dr. Mehboob Noonari and President Dr. Roshan Chandio with Secretary Health Sindh.
The delegation included Dr. Rana Dildar, Dr. Sadam Mahesar from Karachi, Dr. Mir Afzal from LUMHS, Dr. Aanand Kumar from Civil Hospital Karachi, Dr. Amar Danish from JPMC, Dr. Hamza from Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, and Dr. Neel Kanth from NICH, Dr Zainul Abdin (for dental issues).
The YDA Sindh delegation discussed various issues in detail, particularly focusing on oral cancer and the recruitment of dental surgeons, the regularization of remaining COVID-19 doctors, the MLO cadre and the deputation policy, Security bill and SNE of all cadres in all hospitals.
Chairman YDA stated that “We are very thankful to the Secretary for his positive response regarding every matter, He assured us that he would address the issues and call us for a follow-up meeting”.
After the meeting, the delegation participated in a protest of COVID-19 doctors at Karachi Press Club and visited Civil Hospital Karachi.
They met with the MS of Civil Hospital Karachi Dr Khalid Bukhari and appreciated his efforts in taking action against medicine theft scandal within the hospital.
