Severe water shortage occurred at Raza Muhammad Jokhio and people have no water to take ablution for prayer.
In this respect habitants Of Raza Muhammad Jokhio village expostulated against town administration and elected representatives of area holding water pots on their heads with women and children which was led by Sajad Jokhio, Qadir Jokhio and others.
Protesters raised serious slogans against town administration. Protest began from village till water supply motor.
On hearing about protesters staff of water supply machine went off.
On that occasion lead people of remonstration told talking with media men that staff of their village’s water supply machine is corrupt and greedy who should be changed and water of Raza Muhammad village be recovered on immediate basis.
They said that their water is shorted from few weeks deliberately due to water scarcity of water has occurred throughout village and surrounding areas.
They said that they have complained to UC Chairman even Town Administration about the artifical shortage water in their village but they gave deaf ear and took no interest to resolve their hot burning issue of water.
They further added that their women anc children are compelled to fetch water from far and wide areas having utensils of water on their heads in sunny and scorching heat that’s why they have become constrained to protest.
Residents of Raza Muhammad Jokhio appealed chief executive of Sindh, DC Malir, MNA Jam Abdul Karim and relevant authorities to resolve their issue of water as soon as possible and take action against ravenous and corrupt staff of water supply machine.
