Director General Sindh Food Authority Agha Fakhar Hussain has visited Burns Road Food Street, On this occasion, Managing Director Solid Waste Management Board Imtiaz Shah was also with him.

Office bearers of Burns Road Food Street Association welcomed Director General Sindh Food Authority Agha Fakhar Hussain and Managing Director Solid Waste Management Board Imtiaz Shah.

Recycling of leftover food items was discussed on this occasion. Speaking on the occasion of the visit, DG SFA Agha Fakhar Hussain has said that Sindh Food Authority wants to make Burns Road Food Street a model food street. To achieve this goal, two types of green bins will be kept at Burns Road Food Street.

Leftover food items will be collected in one box while non edible items will be collected in the other box.

Agha Fakhar Hussain further said that Solid Waste Management Board vehicles would collect these items and these items would be recycled and used as fertilizer.

Office bearers of Burns Road Food Street Association appreciated the project of Sindh Food Authority and Solid Waste Management Board and assured their full support.
