Karachi: Transition Officer District Council Karachi (DCK) Jamin das and Municipal Commissioner Gadap Ahmed Yar kalhoro have taken strict notice of the death of a child falling into the sewer in the limits of Union Council Murad Memon yesterday

Transition officer hold an emergency meeting in this regard in which Director Sanitation Mushtaq Mattu, Chief Engineer M&E Mumtaz Ali Zardari and others participated On this occasion.
However he said that not having a cover on the sewer falls under the category of negligence and there should be immediate and decisive punishment against the negligent.
He stated that, the said Sewerage scheme where incident happened is of public health engineering.
He said that based on the information received from the regional officials and staff the said sewerage scheme.
Attributing it to DCK is completely baseless allegation, our organization has also issued a letter in this regard to the concerned authorities, in which it is strongly denied, bearing no. Tmc-G-Chairman/19/2023, He said.
