An emergency meeting of All Sindh Peoples Paramedical Staff was held at National Institute of Child Health (NICH) Karachi to discuss about the threat and harassment by the NICH management including Dr Liaquat Halo and Ghulam Rasool Tunio, the said meeting was attended by Asif Baloch General Secretary Karachi Division, Arshad Khan Media Coordinator Karachi Division and Senior Vice President Sindh Mr. Rana Khalid and Mr. Raja Shahzad in charge Election Cell of PS 104.
However Office bearers of NICH Unit Khalid Khan Paramedical Office, Chaudhary Faisal, Talib Hussain, Prince Ali Akbar, Robin Randhawa Adnan, Abbas, Ashraf, Syed Zafar Hasnain, Sikandar, Azhar Hafeez, Akbar Ali, Aslam Baloch, Ishtiaq, Tariq including others also attended the meeting.
It was learned that YDA , YNA also announced for the support on the announcement of token strike on Monday 24th July 2023 against the injustice of NICH management with Zaryab Tiwana.
In the meeting harassment and threat to Zaryab Hayat Tiwana, Deputy General Secretary, Karachi Division by the administration especially by the Director Dr. Liaqat Halo and Ghulam Rasool Tunio, were discussed in detail and the Paramedical staff office bearers stated that there is a government of Pakistan Peoples Party in this province, the senior officials and workers in our government are being targeted for political revenge.
Moreover they added that, Harassment should be stopped otherwise the union will start a protest in all over Sindh and all things will be told to the Sindh Government and Health Department about who has been sitting at home receiving salary for years and whose wives have been sitting at home for years while the administration and officers of the institution have closed their eyes by making a 50/50 deal.
They told that Such ghost employees and their wives were not suspended and Show-cause notices were given but their salaries were not stopped, If their biometrics are removed, attendance will not be seen even in 7-8 years.
Forced Deputy Director Dr. Liaqat Halo and Ghulam Rasool Tunio should be aware otherwise they will be sent to home and will also raise voice against the people who support them, said Asif Baloch.
On this occasion, Rana Khalid Provincial vice President said that All Sindh Peoples Paramedical staff talks about the representation and rights of the employees and it is very sad that the employees are being harassed in NICH, especially the All Sindh People’s Paramedical staff officials are being subjected to political revenge which is beyond tolerance.
Rana Khalid further said that we have informed the senior leadership of PPP that Dr. Liaqat Ali Halo, the deputy director who has come on deputation in this institution, is on the regular post of deputy director and Dr. Nasir Saleem Sidal is on the post of executive director.
He informed that Deputy Director is targeting our officials in his personal capacity for political revenge for his own mind-set and it becomes personal from weak employees to this mental patient if Dr. Nasir Salim Sidal Executive Director Support is involved, so it is even more sad.
Raja Shahzad Incharge of PPP Election Cell PS 104 said that there is a need to be united at this time Zaryab Tiwana is the Deputy General Secretary of our division and he has a great name in this area and if he can be targeted for political revenge then the administration will not delay in taking action against any staff.
However, the Central President of All Sindh Peoples Paramedical Staff and Karachi Division Niaz Ahmad Khaskheli, said in his joint statement that the workers of Pakistan Peoples Party bravely faced the dictatorship era if this injustice would not stop then the big pendorabox could be open on the revelations of officers corrupt practices.
