Karachi: Muhammad Sharif Khan Administrator DMC Korangi and a leader of MQM Pakistan is performing his responsibilities with dedication and honesty as the residents of korangi are praising his efforts for ensuring delivery of municipal services.
While speaking with Daily City News Correspondent Administrator District Municipal Corporation Korangi stated that, within the period of three months as an Administrator along with the delivery of municipal services his department has also worked for the promotion of education as CSS preparation classes started in 3.5 Number Model Library .
He informed that 190 students of DMC Korangi schools got A+ position in the recent Board of Secondary Education exam. There are a total of 105 schools in which 102 schools are in running condition and almost three thousand students are studying in it.
He informed that during his short period of posting as Administrator he has organized Kutub (Book) Mela and Career Counselling session in Shah Faisal Colony and Malir Model Zone which was inaugurated by the Federal Minister of Information Technology Amin ul Haq.
Muhammad Sharif Khan said that 12 Libraries and 15 Maternity Homes are also operating under DMC Korangi , whereas the department is trying its best to provide state of the art facilities in the field of education and health.
On the question of financial stability of DMC , he said the department is taking steps on his special instructions to generate more revenue so that dmc could be able to pay all the liabilities of employees as well as contractors.
Whereas for the better outcomes he informed that he himself visits every department as well as the areas in the jurisdiction to be informed about the issues of citizens and to resolve it on a priority basis.
It was learned that Administrator Korangi has initiated a campaign of “Our Commitment, Our Mission clean and Green Korangi ” in this regard on the first phase cleaning week campaign launched in the district which aimed to pick up the backlog of garbage from all over the district.
Administrator Korangi stated, he initiated this campaign to lift garbage from all over the district for a clean and green environment as the holy month of Ramadan is coming.
