Karachi: KDA Labour Union an affiliated union of Peoples Labour Bureau of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) organized a grand gathering at Civic Center Karachi to share the manifesto and future strategies regarding the referendum of CBA which will be held on 6th March 2023.

Patron in Chief of KDA Labour Union Muhammad Ashraf, Qamar uz Zafar, Iqbal Haider including various office bearers of Union and Pakistan Peoples Party shared their views in this gathering and asked KDA employees give vote to KDA Labour Union which is contesting with the symbol of Shama.

Whereas, Muhammad Ashraf thanked the Pakistan Muslim League Functional for their support in CBA referendum and also asked MQM to support us and deliver the truth.

However, Muhammad Ashraf said that March 6, 2023 will emerge as a revolution in the history of KDA and If ALLAH honored them in the referendum, they would do the work of the employees instead of crying for power like the opposition union.

The KDA Labour Union leader stated that he rejects the private security company contract by member administration because work charge employees should be our first priority , he also assured workcharge workers of efforts for their permanent employment as PPP always gives employment and would not leave any person unemployed.

While speaking at a grand gathering he warned the KDA administration that if they tried to displace the employees, they would stage a protest .

Meanwhile, President of Peoples Labour Bureau Karachi Aslam Sammo said that if 1600 employees of Steel Mill can be reinstated, then why cannot the work charge employees of Karachi Development Authority be reinstated.

He said that the contract with a private security company is a conspiracy of some officers of the department which the Peoples Labour Bureau rejects.

Other leaders of the Pakistan People’s Party also addressed the meeting and asked to make KDA Labour Union successful by voting in the referendum to be held on March 06.
