Karachi: Municipal Workers Trade Unions Alliance President Syed Zulfiqar Shah stated that It is illegal and unethical for not providing health facilities to government and contract staff working under Sindh Solid Waste Management Board (SSWMB) , whereas providing medical facilities to the employees is the primary responsibility of the government.
He informed that, According to agreement, it is the responsibility of SSWMB to provide medical facilities to all employees who are working in this department, but the SSWMB management is not paying any attention to this.
He said that DMC East and South providing medical facilities to its employees, but the employees working in SSWMB are deprive of getting health facilities.
He urged Managing Director Sindh Solid Waste Management Board to provide medical facilities to all employees on priority basis.
