Muhammad Ashraf Patron in Chief / General Secretary of KDA Labour Union congratulated all management of Karachi Development Authority (KDA) for inclusion of Department of Planning & Urban Design (DP&UD) in KDA.
While speaking with Daily City News Muhammad Ashraf praised the efforts of Chief Minister Sindh, Minister Local Government Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, Secretary Local Government Sindh and DG KDA Muhammad Ali Shah for doing efforts in inclusion of DP&UD.
It was learned that Local Government & Housing Town Planning issued a notification on 18th October 2022 in which it was mentioned that, DP&UD is hereby transferred alongwith its all record and staff from Sindh Master Plan Authority and placed under the administrative control of KDA with immediate effect.
KDA Labour Union General Secretary said this step would bring positive change in KDA and the department would get financially stable.
He shared that, DG KDA Muhammad Ali Shah is continuously taking steps for the betterment of department and Karachi city, he is also taking initiatives for the ease of Karachiites.
He also informed that very soon KDA under the supervision of Minister Local Government Syed Nasir Hussain would announce public housing scheme which was not announced from couple of years.
