President of Municipal Workers Trade Unions Alliance Syed Zulfiqar Shah stated that machinery which handed over to Sindh Solid Waste Management Board (SSWMB) is being made ineffective, while the employees are also deprived of basic facilities.  

He informed that, Since the Charter of Demand has not been implemented yet, the employees have been forced to protest.

He condoled with the families of Korangi fire fighters Muhammad Amir, Mehboob Ali and Muhammad Irshad who were martyred as a result of the terrorist incident and asked for security arrangements, installation of cameras and wireless systems at all fire stations.

He demanded to provide jobs to the children of martyred fire fighters and also asked Chief Secretary Sindh to take notice of solid waste management board issues.
