Waqar Mehdi Special Assistant to Chief Minister Sindh for CM Inspection, Inquiries, Implementation Team chaired meeting of the department held at the office of Chairman CMIT Sindh Secretariat, in which officers informed him about all the schemes and inquiries. 
In the meeting, a briefing was given regarding the ongoing development projects since 2013, it was decided in the meeting that a surprise inspection of the ongoing development projects will be conducted Special Assistant to CM Sindh with officers to review the quality and speed of the work and the report will be submitted to the Chief Minister of Sindh.  
Waqar Mehdi urged the officers to speed up the pending inquiries and complete the inquiries so that further action can be taken in the light of the recommendations.
He also asked officers for Immediate implementation of the directives and ensure inspection of all ongoing development schemes, Whereas, Waqar Mehdi also reviewed the issues of officers and staff shortage in the department and assured to solve it soon.
Further he said that, Chief Minister Sindh has given a special directive to complete all the delayed schemes as soon as possible, for this all the members and officers of CMIT will have to work hard using all their abilities so that in the province all ongoing development schemes should be completed on time and people could avail these facilities .
Chairman CMIT Makhdoom Shakeel-uz-Zaman, member CMIT Asad Ali Khan, Muhammad Ali Rahi, including directors participated in the meeting.
