MQM Pakistan Rabita Committee member and Federal Minister Syed Amin ul Haq in a press statement expressed solidarity with the teachers over the protest of Anjuman e Asataza (Teachers Union) Karachi University. .
He stated that ,The biased government of Sindh has also sacrificed Karachi University, For the last ten months, funds have not been released to Karachi University.
At the same time, biased decisions are being imposed by the Additional Chief Secretary, Secretary University and board, which MQM Pakistan condemn.
He asked that, MQM Pakistan demands that regular meetings of the selection boards be held for the promotion of teachers and this process should be completed in a transparent manner.
He further said that MQM Pakistan has rejected the 2021 Amendment Act in the past as well as today and fully supports the demands of teachers union of Karachi University.
