Administrator D.M.C East Rahmatullah Sheikh has said that Sir Syed University is playing a significant role in the promotion of sports, competition for the tug of war on the occasion Kashmir Solidarity day indicates the struggle for the rights of Kashmiris.

He expressed these views while addressing the Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology as the Chief Guest at the exhibition match of the Tug of War.

He further said that Kashmir is an integral part of Pakistan,India cannot stop the struggle of Kashmir by atrocities.

Our younger generation should learn from the Kashmiri people who never backed down from their cause despite suffering various hardships and this spirit would take them to their destination faster.

He appreciated the administration of Sir Syed University and said that organizing healthy activity on Solidarity Day is a good move.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Waliuddin, Registrar Commodore (R) Syed Sarfaraz Ali and Director Sports Mubasher Mukhtar also addressed the occasion and discussed the Day of Solidarity with Kashmir.

The prizes were distributed by Administrator D.M.C East in the winning team, which was won by the Sir Syed University team while Vice Chancellor Sir Syed University Professor Dr Waliuddin and others presented a commemorative shield to Administrator D.M.C East Rahmatullah Sheikh.
