He said that following the directives of SSP Keamari district Fida Hussain Janwari, SP (Baldia Zone) Capt (R) Faizan Ali constituted a police team under the supervision of SDPO Baldia Mirza Waseem Baig headed by SHO Salim Rind along with others who arrested four members of theft gang.
According to the details, SHO Salim rind had conducted a successful operation along with the police team last night and arrested an organized gang involved in stealing PTCL cables at night.
The accused were identified as Ahsanullah, Hamza, Fazal, and Siraj. A police team has also recovered stolen valuables worth hundreds of thousands of cables and vehicles are being used for carrying the theft cables.
Further, SHO inspector Salim Rind said that separate cases have been registered at Madina colony police station and further investigation is underway.
