Development work is underway in various Union Committees of District East on the directions of Administrator D.M.C East Rahmatullah Sheikh and Municipal Commissioner Fahim Khan.
Steps are being taken to improve the condition of roads at various places under the supervision of Superintendenting Engineer B&R Salman Memon and Executive Engineer B&R Iqbal Malah in this regard Road carpetting works performed in the different areas of union committee 31.
Meanwhile Under the supervision of executive engineer M&E Imtiaz Bhutto,lower passage of almost all the flyovers in the east district have been decorated with attractive lights to ensure that the citizens are provided with attractive environment. In this regard, the work of equipping the underside of the Nipa fly over with beautiful lights is in full swing. to clean the grounds, roads and passages from debris and garbage.
Work under the supervision of in-charge Debris Removal, Rao Shamshad is going on continuously, Administrator D.M.C East Rahmatullah Sheikh has said that development journey will be continued in the district east.
Efforts will be made to bring in as much improvement as possible while remaining in the available resources to improve district east, and also to take all possible steps to improve the recovery of taxes and feeses ,trying to make district east as a model district of karachi.
