On the special direction of Minster for Local Government Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, Director General Karachi Development Authority Asif Ali Memon visited the existing Judges Society in Gulshan-e-Iqbal Block 17 Scheme 24.
On this occasion, DG KDA directed the concerned Executive Engineer Muhammad Aurangzeb and Additional Director Land Abid Zaidi to demarcate the land concerned and hand over the land to the General Secretary Judges Society.
He further said that Karachi Development Authority was abiding by the orders of the Supreme Court and in this regard no interference would be tolerated during the proceedings against encroachments on government lands. The operation will continue till the logical conclusion.
He further said that concerned authorities should ensure implementation of the directive and submit written report to the DG’s office on daily basis. He said that we have to focus on the development of the city of Karachi and the welfare of the citizens. The DG KDA was accompanied by the concerned Executive Engineer, Additional Director Land and other officers during the visit.
