Youngman dies in Karachi due to doctors’ negligence

Another young man fell victim to the indifference and negligence of the hospital management ten days before here at Karachi,for 7 hours, the staff of government hospitals did not provide first aid to injured youth and sent him from one hospital to another and finally the young man succumbed to his injuries. 

According to details, a student of Karachi had a road accident at Liaquatabad bridge lost his life due to non seriousness of doctors of Abbasi Shaheed, Jinnah Hospital and Zia-ud-Din Hospital informed to media by the Chairman Meo Ittehad,Mr.Afzal Khan Meo about this tragic incident in a Press Conference held on Monday at Meo Secretariat, Clifton Karachi.

The father of deceased Mr. Hashim Meo said that my son Arif Meo dies after tragic accident in a press conference, as a result of which he was brought by some peoples to Abbasi Shaheed and they refer him to Jinnah hospital for first aid, where doctors pretended not to treat him and finally my injured son sent to Zia-ud-Din Hospital.

Seven hours had passed and the injured youth had died,due to severe blood loss, Hashim Meo said that here the doctors are worse than butchers and instead of treating the injured patient, they were threatening them to register a case against them.

Despite receiving billions of rupees funds are given to these Public sector hospitals but most of the time people die due to not having timely treatment.

We are not getting justice, but we will not allow anyone else’s life to be treated like this. Mayo Ittehad, other office bearers who addressed in the press conference are Abdul Shakoor Meo, Mohammad Farooq Meo, Shaukat Meo and deceased family members who demanded immediate justice.

In case of non-availability of justice, the scope of protest will be extended to different cities of Sindh and Punjab.
