Repair of roads is the work Local bodies and public representatives who have won seats by voting but they are destroying areas by corruption due to which Fixit is playing an important role in serving the city of Karachi under its own support.
President of Fixit Karachi Sadaqat Ahmed while laying roads in District Central Al- Noor Society UC-26 said that the young members of Fixit are volunteering to serve the city to wake up the institutions and wake up the local body representatives.
He stated that, I salute their efforts and appeal to the Government of Pakistan that There are many places in Karachi where garbage bins are missing, the problem of flowing and broken gutters, the problem of clean drinking water and the destruction of parks are on the rise.
Fixit is trying to save Karachi city from catastrophe, Fixit has to staged protest which is our constitutional right, I request the people of Karachi to come to Fixit Office Gulshan e Iqbal and be a part of us for own Karachi, he added.
Imran Raza, General Secretary, Fixit Karachi Division also shared his views about the contribution of FIXIT for the prosperity of Karachi city.
Harris Lodhi, Coordinator, Fixit District Central, said that New Karachi, North Karachi, Surjani Town, Nazimabad, Liaquatabad, Karimabad, Lyari, Landhi, Korangi, Malir, Old Golimar, and other old city areas are facing lots of problems.
He said that, We consider it our important role to work for the betterment of the people for these areas.
Getting the people out of their problems is our top priority, and this is the mission of Founder Fixit Alamgir Khan for which we are also playing our role, he said.
Nabeel Ahmed, Junaid, Abdul Rahim Ghauri, Imran Khan, Saifullah and other members of FIXIT were also present on the occasion.
